Storz & Bickel is among the most renowned vaporiser brands. Its Volcano series is among the most heralded among vapers and also proves as one of the most reliable. The series started with the Volcano Classic, which up to today remains among the leading vaporisers worldwide. The band followed up the success of the Classic with the Volcano Hybrid, which took the lessons learnt from the Classic and improved on an already great vaporiser.

How the Volcano Hybrid Works
Although the Hybrid is designed for highly experienced vapers, it is easy to use and extremely user-friendly. This is a fact that Storz & Bickel has worked tirelessly to provide in all its vaporisers.
You can either fill up the Hybrid using a dosing capsule or use the Volcano Hybrid reducer when you want to have a small session of between 0.1-0,15grams of the flower. For bigger sessions with friends, you can use the standard chamber, which packs more than 1gram.
After filling the chamber with your herb, replace it on the device, set the temperature and wait for the device to heat to your set temperature and you can start vaping. The improved heating technology on the Volcano Hybrid means you now only have to wait around 40 seconds utmost for the device to get to the desired temperature.
You can decide to vape using the balloon or attach the whip and draw directly from the device. The dosing capsule will give you around one and a half balloons, while the full chamber will give you multiple balloons. The amount of full balloons you get depends on the quality of your herb and the chamber size.
Temperature Flexibility
This is one of the areas where the Volcano Classic fell a little short. The Hybrid has worked on this shortfall to create a more diverse and expansive temperature range that gives you full control of our vaping session.
The Hybrid has a temperature range of between 40-2300C. The device couples this with digital temperature control that is more accurate than the analogue option seen on the Classic.
The precise temperature adjustments also mean you can use the Hybrid with all sorts of herbs and even concentrates that you can use with the liquid pad.
For even better temperature adjustability, you can use the device with the customisable app or on-device display that will allow you to increase or decrease the temperature in 1-degree intervals.
Vapour Quality
The Volcano series is best known for its vapour quality. The devices have great flavour, intense clouds and complete extraction. The Hybrid isn't any different. The Volcano Hybrid has more pure flavour, especially when you use the direct-draw whip.
The vapour quality is also better, especially with the improved heating element that now features a stainless steel ring inside the chamber that provides a small level of conductive heat to produce thicker vapour and fuller extraction. The addition of the ring also improves the flavour profile.
The Volcano Hybrid has done an excellent job of retaining all the good qualities that the Volcano series is known for and improving on them. It carries all the fun adjectives and an immersive experience.
