FAQs

Q: Will CBD get me high?
A: No. CBD is not psychoactive, like some other cannabinoids such as THC. It may make your feel slightly more at ease than usual, but it won’t have you away with the fairies!

Q: Is CBD legal?
A: Yes! Once CBD is separated from the cannabis plant and made safe to use, it’s a perfectly legal supplement.

Q: If Cannabis is illegal, how is CBD made in the UK?
A: The UK is home to a large industry of legal hemp growers, regulated by the government, who farm Cannabis under strict rules for medical and textile use. So you can relax, everything is above board here!

Q: Can CBD cure cancer?
A: We’re not sure... but probably not. Research into this field is only just beginning, and while CBD shows promise to help cancer patients in a number of ways, it’s probably not a cancer curing wonder drug.

Q: Why is CBD so expensive?
A: Testing, testing, testing. Legally grown cannabis plants can be expensive to acquire in the first place, and on top of that reputable CBD companies do a great deal of processing, research, development, and testing on their products to ensure that the CBD you receive is as effective as you expect. Some of these costs are, inevitably, passed on to the consumer. In time improvements in manufacturing and testing processes will bring that price down, but for now the market is still young and prices are set fairly to pay back all the hard work these companies are doing.

Q: Does CBD really work?
A: Absolutely yes! CBD is an excellent, natural health supplement! Different doses will be needed to achieve different effects, and different people will react in different ways, but rest assured: The effects of CBD are very real.
