CBD Oil And Cats

CBD Oil And Cats

Cats are more like their owners than you would think. They are not only intelligent but tend to have the same conditions as humans when they grow old.

As they age, cats are more prone to develop conditions like arthritis, cancer, and chronic pain. In young cats, anxiety, aggression, and feline epilepsy are quite common.

There are plenty of prescription medicines in the market aimed at helping cats live a healthier and more productive life.

How Long Does CBD Oil Stay in the System?

It's not clear how long CBD oil stays. However, the effects of the oil can last for a couple of hours.

The half-life of CBD is estimated to be between 2 to 5 days. Of course, this depends on the size and weight of the cat, as well as how much CBD has been administered and the length of period.

Can you get High from CBD?

No, CBD oil will not get you high. It might cause some slight drowsiness, but that is as much as you can expect. Unlike THC, CBD oil doesn’t have any psychoactive effects. You shouldn’t expect any significant behavioural changes after using CBD.

However, it’s your responsibility to make sure you get CBD oil products that are free from THC. Ensure the products are made from CBD isolate and have complete lab results indicating no THC is in the products.
